Breakfast and Meeting
of the Friendship Veterans Fire Engine Association

Description:  Hear guest speaker and enjoy a hearty breakfast. This is the first appearance of the day by George Washington and the Grand Marshal.

Wreath Laying Ceremony
at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier of the Revolution

Description: “Colonial Military and Civilians honor the Soldiers of the Revolutionary War”
Time: 11:00 a.m.  Ticket Price: Free (reservations are not required)
Location:  Courtyard behind the Old Presbyterian Meeting House, 321 So. Fairfax St.

 

George Washington Birthday Parade

“The largest Parade Celebrating Washington’s Birthday in the USA!

Grand Marshal to be announced!

Time: 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Parade Route:  Start point is on South Saint Asaph Street at Wilkes Street; parade goes North on Saint Asaph Street to Queen Street, East on Queen Street to Royal Street, South on Royal Street to King Street, East on King Street to Fairfax Street, and South on Fairfax Street to the End Point on Fairfax Street at Gibbon Street.
Reviewing Stand is on the West side of Royal Street at Cameron Street
Access for Handicapped is across from the Reviewing Stand on the East side of Royal Street at Cameron Street; parking on Cameron between N. Royal & N. Fairfax Streets.
